Delighted to have been given the opportunity to design and build an installation for Body & Soul Festival. As this installation was designed for a Music & Arts Festival, I wanted to create interactive pieces
that people could have fun with and take photos of themselves posing with the pieces. The idea is a
humourous one, in that people could get back to their roots ( all puns intended) and become
treehuggers. The pieces are made from wire and plaster, painted and then nailed to the trees via a
wooden plank inserted into the middle of each arm and then the material is simply wrapped around and
sewn, as to cover up any wire. I had great feedback from this proj ect, both in person at the festival
and also online through various media such as Instagram, where people had uploaded their interactive
pictures.
